Introduction
Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) or Common Professional Exams (CPE) is a law qualifying route for the graduates with non law degrees. Simply if you have qualification which is not in law, you can enrol in GDL to pass the academic stage (LLB). GDL will provide you opportunity to further enrol in LPC or BPTC to become a lawyer or to sit for SQE exam. The career path open to many other interesting opportunities such as Legal Executive, paralegal etc. Through our online tuition programme you can study while in work or in your city. The GDL tuition programme at BCPS London College of Law costs only 35% as compared to other institutions.

What required to enrol?
GDL/CPE entry requirements are many fold. Below are the broad category of students who can enroll in the GDL course ;
1. Graduation in any Subject from a UK University, or
2. Certificate of Academic Standing from SRA (Solicitors Regulation Authority).
3. A Degree from University outside UK including LL.B (International Students who do not have an English LL.B cannot enter into LPC or BPTC Course until they take GDL/CPE).
5. Competency in English Language (This is examined by the BCPS Language School)

Career Path
Successful completion of GDL allows you to enroll for LPC or BPTC to become Solicitor or Barrister. You can also join law practice as paralegal or legal executive after appropriate memberships. Teaching Law is also one of the great career associated with this degree. Study progression is onto the degree of LLM. Further, after attaining LLB Degree many legal posts also comes within the student’s domain.
