Introduction
The Bar Transfer Test or BTT is for students looking for alternative route of qualification regulated by the Bar Standard Board to qualify as Barrister in England and Wales without the need of completing full English Educational route to become a Barrister. The BTT is open for qualified lawyers in other Jurisdictions. The English Lawyers, UK Law Degree Holders and UK Law Teachers can also apply for exemption by applying to BSB to be exempt from examination via BTT. Through BCPS London College of Law online tuition programme you can study while in work or in your city. The BTT tuition programme at BCPS London College of Law costs only 35% as compared to other institutions.

What required to enrol?
To Take the Bar Transfer Test BTT you must hold a Law Degree, and Active Licence to practice as an Advocate/Attorney in an authorised jurisdiction. You will apply to Bar Standard Board for an exemption letter in which BSB will provide you the decision to which test exams you must take, this is called Transferring Qualified Lawyer Application.
You must also join one of the Four English Inns of Court to complete the required qualifying sessions.
You must also have high standard of written and spoken English, although IELTS test is not required if your education of Law was completed in English Language. If you need help with English Language, BCPS English Language school can help you.

Bar Transfer Test (BTT) syllabus covers core subjects of English law and practical legal skills required for qualified lawyers to transfer to the Bar of England and Wales.
1. Foundational Subjects (English Law)
Depending on individual exemptions assessed by the Bar Standards Board (BSB), candidates may need to demonstrate competence in foundational legal areas:

The Bar Transfer Test (BTT) examination style consists of both centralized multiple-choice question (MCQ) assessments and practical, recorded performance or written exams depending on your individual Bar Standards Board (BSB) exemption decision.
