SQE
After September 2021, you will have to sit and pass the SQE in order to qualify, regardless of your chosen route to qualification as a solicitor. You would need a degree as entry requirement. We offer individual SQE Course and also SQE in a Law Degree such as LLB Legal Practice and LLM Legal Practice.
LL.B
LL.B (Legum Licentiative Bacheloriuos) is a degree level law qualification. In which you study the fundamental concept of law (common law). The LL.B degree is the famous qualification route to become a lawyer/Solicitor/Barrister. The degree has been regarded as a difficult journey, with too much time and cost involve, but we at BCPS London College of Law, have made it easy and cheaper. GDL/CPE
Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) or Common Professional Exams (CPE) is a law qualifying route for the graduates with non law degrees. Simply if you have qualification which is not in law, you can enrol in GDL to pass the academic stage (LL.B). GDL will provide you opportunity to further enrol in LPC or BPTC to become a lawyer or to sit for SQE exam. HNC/HND
Higher National Diploma (HND) is a 2 year law programme for which HNC (Higher National Certificate) is considered as the first year. This law programme provides you foundational legal understanding of English Law. Successful completion of HND guarantees your admission in LLB programme to become a Solicitor or Barrister. Completion of one year makes you eligible for the award of HNC (Higher National Certificate).
BPTC/BPC
The Bar Practice Course BPC is the mandatory second stage of training to become Barrister of England and Wales. This is a one year course which if taken part time spread to two years. BTT
The Bar Transfer Test or BTT is for students looking for alternative route of qualification regulated by the Bar Standard Board to qualify as Barrister in England and Wales without the need of completing full English Educational route to become a Barrister. The BTT is open for qualified lawyers in other Jurisdictions. The English Lawyers, UK Law Degree Holders and UK Law Teachers can also apply for exemption by applying to BSB to be exempt from examination via BTT.
